With the following privacy policy, we inform you in particular about the type, scope, purpose, duration, and legal basis of the processing of personal data, insofar as we either alone or together with others determine the purposes and means of processing. Furthermore, we inform you below about the third-party components we use for optimization purposes and to enhance user experience, where these third parties process data under their own responsibility.
Our privacy policy is structured as follows:

III. Information on data processing
The data processed when using our website is deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage ceases to apply, provided that there are no legal retention obligations preventing deletion and no other specifications regarding individual processing procedures are stated below.
Server data
For technical reasons, in particular to ensure a secure and stable website, data is transmitted by your internet browser to us or our web space provider. These so-called server log files include, among other things, the type and version of your internet browser, the operating system, the website from which you accessed our website (referrer URL), the website(s) of our internet presence that you visit, the date and time of each access, as well as the IP address of the internet connection from which the use of our website occurs.
The data collected in this way is temporarily stored, but not together with other personal data.
This storage is based on the legal grounds of Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the improvement, stability, functionality, and security of our website.
The data will be deleted no later than seven days after collection, provided that no further retention is required for evidentiary purposes. Otherwise, the data is excluded from deletion in whole or in part until the final resolution of an incident.
Cookies
a) Session Cookies
We use so-called cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies that your internet browser stores on your device. These cookies process certain information from you, such as your browser or location data or your IP address.
Through this processing, our website becomes more user-friendly, effective, and secure, as processing enables, for example, the display of our website in different languages or the provision of a shopping cart function.
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b) GDPR, insofar as these cookies process data for contract initiation or contract execution.
If the processing does not serve contract initiation or execution, our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website. The legal basis is then Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR.
When you close your internet browser, these session cookies are deleted.
b) Third-Party Cookies
Our website may also use cookies from partner companies with whom we cooperate for advertising, analysis, or functionality purposes.
Details on this, particularly the purposes and legal grounds for processing such third-party cookies, can be found in the following sections.
c) Disabling Cookies
You can prevent or restrict the installation of cookies by adjusting your internet browser settings. You can also delete already stored cookies at any time. However, the necessary steps and measures depend on the internet browser you use. If you have any questions, please use the help function or documentation of your internet browser or contact the manufacturer or support. For so-called Flash cookies, processing cannot be prevented through browser settings. Instead, you must change the settings of your Flash player. Again, the necessary steps depend on the Flash player you use. If you have any questions, please use the help function or documentation of your Flash player or contact the manufacturer or user support.
If you prevent or restrict the installation of cookies, this may mean that not all functions of our website can be fully used.
Social Media Linking via Graphics or Text Links
We also promote our presence on the following social networks on our website. The integration is done via a linked graphic of the respective network. By using this linked graphic, we prevent a connection to the respective social network's server from being automatically established when you visit a page that features social media promotion. Only when you click on the corresponding graphic will you be redirected to the respective social network's service.
After the user is redirected, the respective network collects information about the user. It cannot be ruled out that data processing takes place in the USA.
This data initially includes the IP address, date, time, and visited page. If the user is logged into their account on the respective network during this time, the network operator may associate the collected information with the user's personal account. If the user interacts via a "Share" button, this information may be stored in the user's personal account and possibly published. If the user wants to prevent the collected information from being directly associated with their account, they must log out before clicking the graphic. Additionally, it is possible to configure the respective user account accordingly.
The following social networks are linked on our website:

https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active
Facebook guarantees that EU data protection regulations are also complied with when processing data in the USA.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the quality of our website.
Further information about possible plug-ins and their respective functions can be found on Facebook at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.
If a plug-in is embedded on one of the pages you visit on our website, your internet browser will download a display of the plug-in from Facebook’s servers in the USA. For technical reasons, Facebook needs to process your IP address in this process. Additionally, the date and time of your visit to our website are also recorded.
If you are logged into Facebook while visiting one of our plug-in-enabled websites, Facebook recognizes the information collected by the plug-in about your specific visit. Facebook may assign the collected information to your personal user account on Facebook. If, for example, you use the Facebook "Like" button, this information will be stored in your Facebook user account and may be published via the Facebook platform. To prevent this, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website or use a browser add-on to block the Facebook plug-in.
Further information about the collection and use of data, as well as your rights and protection options, can be found in Facebook’s privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/policy.php.
"Twitter" Social Plug-in
We use the social plug-in of the Twitter social network on our website. Twitter is an online service provided by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, hereinafter referred to as "Twitter."
Through certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield, Twitter guarantees that EU data protection regulations are also complied with when processing data in the USA.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the quality of our website.
If the plug-in is embedded on one of the pages you visit on our website, your internet browser will download a display of the plug-in from Twitter’s servers in the USA. For technical reasons, Twitter needs to process your IP address in this process. Additionally, the date and time of your visit to our website are also recorded.
If you are logged into Twitter while visiting one of our plug-in-enabled websites, Twitter recognizes the information collected by the plug-in about your specific visit. Twitter may assign the collected information to your personal user account on Twitter. If, for example, you use the Twitter "Share" button, this information will be stored in your Twitter user account and may be published via the Twitter platform. To prevent this, you must log out of Twitter before visiting our website or adjust the relevant settings in your Twitter user account.
Further information about the collection and use of data, as well as your rights and protection options, can be found in Twitter’s privacy policy at https://twitter.com/privacy.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics on our website. This is a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as "Google."
Through certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield, Google guarantees that EU data protection regulations are also complied with when processing data in the USA.
The Google Analytics service is used to analyze the usage behavior of our website. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our website.
Usage and user-related information, such as IP address, location, time, or frequency of website visits, is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, we use Google Analytics with the so-called anonymization function. This function truncates the IP address within the EU or EEA before Google processes it further.
The collected data is used by Google to provide us with reports on website visits and user activities. These data may also be used for further services related to website and internet usage.
Google states that it does not associate your IP address with other data. Additionally, Google provides further data protection information at https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/partners, including ways to prevent data usage.
Google also provides a browser add-on for disabling Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. This add-on can be installed in common internet browsers and offers extended control over the data collected by Google. The add-on informs Google Analytics’ JavaScript (ga.js) that data on website visits should not be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, this does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or other web analytics services. You can find out whether and which additional web analytics services we use in this privacy policy.
Google Maps
We use Google Maps to display our location and to create directions. This is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as "Google."
Through certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield, Google guarantees that EU data protection regulations are also complied with when processing data in the USA.
To enable the display of certain fonts on our website, a connection to a Google server in the USA is established when accessing our website.
If you use the Google Maps component integrated into our website, Google will store a cookie on your device via your internet browser. This cookie processes user settings and data to display our location and provide route guidance. We cannot exclude the possibility that Google servers in the USA are used.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in optimizing the functionality of our website.
Through the connection established with Google, Google can determine from which website your request was sent and to which IP address the route guidance should be transmitted.
If you do not agree with this processing, you can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting your internet browser settings accordingly. Details can be found above under the section "Cookies."
Additionally, the use of Google Maps and the information obtained through Google Maps is subject to Google’s Terms of Service https://policies.google.com/terms?gl=EN&hl=en and the Terms of Service for Google Maps https://www.google.com/intl/en/help/terms_maps.html.
Furthermore, Google provides additional information at
https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated
https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Google Search Function ("CSE")
We use the "Google Custom Search Engine" ("CSE") for full-text search on our website. "CSE" is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as "Google."
Google is certified under the "EU-US Privacy Shield," ensuring compliance with EU data protection regulations when processing data in the USA.
https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active
"CSE" enables full-text search for content on our website. Access to this search function is provided via the "Google Custom Search" search box.
The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in enhancing the user-friendliness of our website.
The function is integrated into our website as an unmodified software module from Google. When the search is activated by entering a search term, Google loads the requested information using a plug-in. At the same time, the terms entered by the user and the user’s IP address are transmitted to Google for executing the search and displaying the search results.
If the user is logged into an existing Google account at the time of the search, Google can associate the collected information with the corresponding user profile.
Further information, especially regarding ways to prevent data usage, is available from Google at the following links:

YouTube
We use YouTube on our website. YouTube is a video platform operated by YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, hereinafter referred to as "YouTube."
YouTube is a subsidiary of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as "Google."
Through certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield, Google and its subsidiary YouTube guarantee compliance with EU data protection regulations when processing data in the USA.
We use YouTube in conjunction with the "Enhanced Privacy Mode" function to display videos. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the quality of our website. According to YouTube, the "Enhanced Privacy Mode" ensures that data is only transmitted to YouTube's server when a video is actually started.
Without this "Enhanced Privacy" mode, a connection to YouTube’s server in the USA is established as soon as you visit a page on our website where a YouTube video is embedded.
This connection is necessary for the video to be displayed via your internet browser. In the process, YouTube collects and processes at least your IP address, the date and time, and the webpage you visited. Additionally, a connection to Google’s "DoubleClick" advertising network is established.
If you are logged into YouTube at the same time, YouTube associates this information with your YouTube account. If you wish to prevent this, you must log out of YouTube before visiting our website or adjust the settings in your YouTube account accordingly.
For functionality and analysis of user behavior, YouTube permanently stores cookies on your device via your internet browser. If you do not agree with this processing, you can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser settings. Further information can be found above under "Cookies."
Further details on data collection, usage, and your rights and protection options can be found in Google’s privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

To secure our website and optimize loading times, we use the CloudFlare service as a CDN (Content Delivery Network). This service is provided by Cloudflare Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, California 94107, USA, hereinafter referred to as "CloudFlare."
Through certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield, CloudFlare guarantees compliance with EU data protection regulations when processing data in the USA.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure operation and optimization of our website.

- The operating system you are using
- The website from which you accessed our website (referrer URL)
- Your time spent on our website
- The frequency of your visits
The data collected by CloudFlare is used for statistical analysis of access, as well as for security and optimization purposes.
If you do not agree with this processing, you can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly. Details on this can be found above under the section "Cookies."
CloudFlare provides additional information on data collection, usage, and your rights at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.

We use the Google AdWords advertising component along with conversion tracking. This service is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as "Google."
Through certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield, Google guarantees compliance with EU data protection regulations when processing data in the USA.
We use conversion tracking to measure the success of our advertisements. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in analyzing, optimizing, and operating our website efficiently.
If you click on a Google ad, the conversion tracking system stores a cookie on your device. These so-called conversion cookies expire after 30 days and do not allow personal identification.
If the cookie is still valid and you visit a specific page on our website, both we and Google can determine that you clicked on one of our ads and were redirected to our website.
Google then provides us with statistics about visitors who clicked on our ads and what pages they visited afterward. However, neither we nor any other Google AdWords users are able to personally identify you through this tracking.
You can prevent or restrict the installation of cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly. Additionally, you can delete already stored cookies at any time. The necessary steps depend on the specific browser you are using. Please consult your browser’s help function or documentation for details.

Through certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield, Google guarantees compliance with EU data protection regulations when processing data in the USA.
Google AdSense stores cookies and web beacons on your device via your internet browser. These technologies allow Google to analyze your usage of our website. The collected information, along with your IP address and displayed advertisements, is transmitted to Google in the USA and stored there. Google may also share this information with partners. However, Google states that your IP address is not merged with other data.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in analyzing, optimizing, and operating our website efficiently.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in analyzing, optimizing, and operating our website efficiently.
To enable this service, Google stores a cookie with a numerical sequence on your device when you visit our website. This cookie anonymously records your visit and usage of our website. Personal data is not shared. If you later visit a third-party website that also uses Google’s advertising network, you may see advertisements related to our website.
To permanently disable this function, Google offers a browser plug-in for common internet browsers at https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin.
You can also opt-out of certain advertisers’ cookies at:
Through "Cross-Device Marketing," Google may track your usage behavior across multiple devices, allowing personalized ads to be displayed even if you switch devices. This requires your consent to link your browsing history with your Google account. Google provides more information on Google Remarketing at http://www.google.com/privacy/ads/.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in analyzing, optimizing, and operating our website efficiently.
If you click on an advertisement we have placed on the Bing search engine, Microsoft stores a tracking cookie on your device via your internet browser. This tracking cookie expires after 180 days and does not allow personal identification. If you visit certain pages on our website while the cookie is still valid, both Microsoft and we can recognize that you clicked on one of our Bing ads and were redirected to our website.
The information collected through the tracking cookie is used by Microsoft to generate visitor statistics for us. This allows us to determine how many people have clicked on our Bing ads and which pages on our website were subsequently accessed. However, we do not receive any information that would personally identify you.
Additionally, Microsoft may track your user behavior across multiple devices through Cross-Device Tracking. This enables Microsoft to display personalized ads across different devices.
